“I appreciated my time with Tanya. As a newly pregnant woman, I wasn’t sure what all I needed to know/do when it came to making sure my body was taken care of to the best of my ability during my pregnancy. To be honest, I didn’t really think that going to a women’s PT was necessary; but I’ll be the first to say it is, before, during, and after labor and delivery. I had some “dribbling” when working out prior to getting pregnant which always worried me and made me feel like something was wrong. I knew that going to Tanya, someone with lots of knowledge and experience on the subject and someone I respect and trust was needed. Tanya gave me exercises to do during pregnancy as well as met with my husband and I to coach us through how to be the best team during my L&D. She also made me feel more knowledgeable on the subject and assured me of my rights and to always ask questions and only do what I was comfortable with. I had the best L&D experience…nothing like you see on the movies which I totally feared!!! I owe a lot of this to Tanya. I also met with Tanya post-partum and will say I now have ZERO leaking..even after having leaking before getting pregnant and have now given birth, and vaginally might I add. I’m sure that one of the main reasons I didn’t suffer from major ab separation was because of her. Before this program I was overwhelmed by the size and extent of my diastasis.  It seemed like something that I could never fix so I should just learn to live with it.  While it didn’t limit my daily activities or function, I wasn’t doing it any favors with what I was doing.  I didn’t know how to perform daily activities and exercises safely. Since taking this course, I feel much less overwhelmed by healing my diastasis.  I have the tools I need to safely perform daily movements so not only am I not making my diastasis worse but also improving it every day.  Tanya is amazing at explaining things in a way that are understandable and manageable.  I took Tanya’s Pelvic Core class and loved the results, I was so excited when she offered this program so I could improve and learn even more. I loved how practical the exercises are for daily movements.  My core has been something I have struggled with since having four c-sections and after this program, I feel my core is the strongest it has been since before kids.  I have less back pain and my posture has improved.  I am so thankful for Tanya and this program! – Jodi

“The OB package was the best decision I ever made in regards to pelvic floor and abdominal health during and after pregnancy! I was skeptical at first because of how bad a tear I had with my first delivery and how uncomfortable recovery was for me. However, I gave it a try and was SHOCKED at the results. Dr. Rowenhorst worked with my specific body type and my specific concerns to help heal me from my first delivery and go into my second delivery with confidence that I can recover. The exercises were so easy and not at all time-consuming given I have a two-year-old and newborn to run after! I had a third-degree tear with my first, only a first-degree with my second. My pushing time went from two hours with my first to two pushes total on my second! The gap between my abdominal muscles went from 2.5 cm to 1 and is still shrinking! A plus was that she was completely comfortable with me bringing my babies to the appointments given I have no one to help watch them. I highly, highly recommend her programs. She cares so much about the individual and their concerns and she won’t stop until you’re functioning the way God made you to function!”

When my teen daughter started experiencing knee pain and our local doctor recommended PT, we decided to make an appointment with Tanya. I’m so thankful we did! She immediately made my daughter feel welcome and we were impressed with how thorough her assessment was. “It’s not easy for me to spend money on myself, but after having three pregnancies close together, I knew I needed some help and the OB package (and an add-on appointment the week of Christmas she squeezed in for me) was exactly what I needed! Tanya was able to treat and instruct on some pain I have dealt with during each pregnancy. I am so thankful to have found the problem and relief! The labor prep appointment with my husband was a great review of techniques we’d used before and put my husband at ease to review them in person with someone before the big day! During my postpartum appointments, Tanya was so patient as I nursed my two-week-old baby and really took the time to listen to my questions or concerns. “I originally started the OB package with Tanya to get pain management during pregnancy with my ribs and lower back. She was so attentive and intentional about designing a program that fit my needs for pain management and what we hoped for during labor and delivery. During my prenatal visits, Tanya thoroughly explained how and why each exercise and manipulation were important. My husband and I highly appreciated the information she gave us during our second prenatal visit. When it came time for labor and delivery of our little girl, we were able to use the manual techniques Tanya provided us with ease. As a result, our daughter was safely brought into the world in 1/3 of the time that our firstborn had been. In addition, labor was more comfortable because we were able to help babe get into the correct positioning for delivery using Tanya’s manual techniques. “Incontinence is something that I thought I was just going to have to live with and that it was just “something that happened” to all women after having children. Then I started seeing and reading Tanya’s posts on social media and I was interested in learning how to help the incontinence issues I was experiencing as well as the lower back pain and some other things she would mention.
