If you’re struggling, can I offer you some encouragement? 🤍
I’m sharing my personal journey through women’s health issues:
- I was diagnosed with infertility and struggled with amenorrhea most of my life until the age 25
- I got pregnant with fertility help (Clomid) with babies 1 and 2.
- I’ve been pregnant 5 times.
- I’ve had 5 vaginal deliveries.
- I’ve had back labor twice.
- I’ve had 3 episiotomies (yes, I know!)
- I’ve had 1 episiotomy turned 3rd-degree tear.
- I’ve had 1 induction (#4)
- I’ve had 4 epidurals
- I’ve had one birth with NO epidural and no tearing (#5)
- I’ve delivered on my back (the one where I tore the most – #1)
- I’ve delivered in squatting 3x (#2-4)
- I’ve delivered on my side (the only one I didn’t tear)
- I have Grade 2 rectocele and cystocele (pelvic organ prolapse)
Yet, I have NO prolapse symptoms or issues!
I have NO leaking EVER – I can jump on the trampoline with my kids, sneeze, cough, and laugh hard without a problem. I can do HIIT workouts and run and NEVER leak.
- I have had a 3 cm diastasis with each pregnancy that’s closed and causes no problems.
- I used to run but with pain and no longer have any!
- I used to be prone to back pain since baby #1, and I can’t even tell you the last time I experienced it!
If someone would look at my history, they’d say I’m a recipe for leaking, vaginal heaviness/pressure, diastasis, and more! And if anyone can say it’s possible to never think about these things or have them affect your life, it’s ME!
YOU can have this story. Surgery is NOT your only option. Pads are NOT your only option. You may have been told by your provider that “it’s just a part of having babies,” but that’s simply not true. You don’t have to settle.
If you’d like help, we’re running another round of Pelvic Core, my 4-week online course created for women like you (and me!), so YOU no longer have to struggle either.
There is HOPE. Who’s been told, “It’s just the way it is?” 🙋🏼♀️
