Lately, I have been living in athleisure every day. I’ve found that as much as I enjoy dressing up, I’m often demonstrating exercises to patients, quick-filming a workout for my Level-Up membership, or putting something together for social media, and I need to be able to move easily. I try to find clothes that still help me look put together while allowing me to transition to mom life or my kids’ games.
Here’s a few things I’m loving lately:
Hokas – my daughter got these for track this year and though Hokas have been around for years, I’ve never purchased a pair. I decided to try hers on and they were SO comfortable. I loved these in a neutral color that I can wear outside of my workouts as well.
Varley sweatshirt – Varley is a more luxury athleisure brand. While NOT cheap, I can promise you that it is HIGH quality with timeless design and always flattering while being incredibly comfortable. Any piece will last forever. I purchased this sweatshirt a couple of weeks ago and would love to live in it this spring! 😉
Varley Belt Bag – I jumped on the belt bag trend a year ago with this bag and can tell you that it’s become my go-to purse I use every day. I like this one because it’s a little roomier than the average belt bag. I can fit my wallet, phone, sunglasses, and a few smaller items like a pen, chapstick, gum, etc.
Love V-Neck Tee – I know this is spendier for a T-shirt, but it’s such a flattering cut and Lululemon is always updating their colors so it’s worth waiting for a color you love. I have the V-neck and the Love Crew neck option and adore both. I wear this with joggers, jeans, jean shorts; it would even be cute dressed up with white jeans in the summer. However, I also wear it with basic running shorts for a walk or strength workout.
With Ease Tee – This is a cute tee from Athleta. I mostly wear this with joggers and leggings, though I’m sure this summer I’ll wear it with shorts as well. I like the easy shape and the high-low hemline. As with all Athleta items, the quality is high and is worth the price point if you want something that will last for years instead of just one season.
Vuori Joggers—I wear these multiple times a week. 🙈I’m slightly embarrassed to admit that I have three pairs of these in black, but I wear them with basically everything, and they’re the most used piece of clothing I own. If we are looking at cost/wear, these, by FAR have the best value of anything in my closet.
