It’s been a while since I’ve shared some favorite things with you! Here are 7 things I’m loving lately!
- Nina Luxe Cafe Premier Espresso Machine – if you want to get coffee-shop-worthy coffee from home, this is such a fantastic machine. Not the cheapest out there, but by far not the most expensive either. My parents got this for Christmas on a great deal at Costco. I’ll be VERY honest. I know and appreciate good coffee, and I was extremely skeptical that this would deliver GOOD coffee – I thought it would just be ok, but that they would appreciate it b/c they’re not as picky as I am. 😉 But after trying their coffee, I had to eat my words and judgmental thoughts. 😂 This coffee machine delivers espresso just as good as my local coffee shop, and now I save a whole lot of money making coffee for myself and my girls from home vs. going out every time we want a great latte. We do make sure to get decent beans, which really helps (I get mine from Costco)! I had been looking at espresso machines that were way more expensive b/c I thought that was the only way I could get coffee-shop-quality coffee at home. Never have I been so glad that the cheaper option delivered!!
- Iced Coffee Cups – I also purchased these glass coffee cups from Amazon, as we mostly make iced lattes. I still appreciate plain black coffee in the morning, but an iced latte is a great late morning/early afternoon pick-me-up, and I love these cups! Right now they’re 25% off!
- Aesthetic night lights – I can’t take the credit for these – I saw them on another influencer’s page and thought they were so cute. My youngest daughter is scared of the dark, so I ordered these for her. Love that they come in a two-pack for two kids, OR in her case, I put them both in her room, which provides the perfect amount of light for her at night. They aren’t gaudy or obnoxious and could easily work in a hallway or bathroom if you need a little light at night.
- Adorable Woven Table Lamp – This past year, we had a little remodel going on and played “fruit basket upset” with my girls’ rooms! They all were fortunate to make their new room their own, and one of my daughters got this super cute lamp for hers. I’d honestly love to have it in my own room; it’s so cute, and it was such a great find at Target for a great price.
- Amazon pens – As I’m sure you can imagine, 😆 I’m the pickiest when it comes to pens, and I’ve been a FAITHFUL “pilot” pen user for probably decades. I really won’t buy or use anything else if I can help it! But at Christmas, my mother-in-law gifted us these pens in our stockings. Of course, they look so cute, but I had little faith they’d write as well as my Pilot pens. But guess what – I REALLY like how they write too! I’ve been using them each day for journaling and even started carrying them to work as well. If I can find a tool that not only works great but is ALSO cute, it’s such a fun little win. 😉
- Olive and June Gel Nail System – I have been a fan of Olive and June for a long time. They have the best polish colors, and I appreciate their dedication to creating a clean product without toxins/chemicals. However, I never felt like their regular polish lasted more than a week, and I began getting salon manis with dip powder. However, I didn’t love the monthly price, so when I saw that O&J created a gel system, I decided to give it a try. My girls have some gel polish and a light from a different company, but again, I was never impressed with how long the polish lasted. O&J had fantastic testimonials, and I really do think it lives up to the hype. While I don’t think the longevity will ever be as good as dip powder (that’s simply hard to beat), I’m much happier saving my money every month and using products I know are better for me!
- Fav Hair ties for thick hair – These are the go-to hair ties I keep ordering. They don’t get stuck or break my hair. I love the thick band for holding it all in place, and I like the texture/color. I’ll sometimes find an old hair tie and throw it on, and then I’m reminded why I love these so much – it’s just not the same!
